design award as part of the 24th
annual Industrial Design Excellence
Awards (IDEA) competition, sponsored
by Business Week and the Industrial
Design Society of America (IDSA).
The annual IDEA competition honors
leaders in industrial design, and
Flo Healthcare was selected from
more than 1,200 entries from 15 countries
around the world. The jurors considered:
- Design innovation
- Benefits to the user
- Benefits to the client
- Ecologically responsible
- Appropriate aesthetics
Other winners included Microsoft,
Medtronic, Apple (G4 PowerBook),
and BMW (MiniCooper). That puts
Flo Healthcare in exclusive company
and is a direct reflection of the
quality of our products and the
people behind them. All winners
were published in a web issue of
Business Week.
