upgraded cart, combined with a bar code-based medication
administration system from Bridge Medical Inc.,
led to Mercy Health System’s purchase of
about 40 new cart-based computers, equipped with
laptops from Dell Inc. and flat screen monitors
from Planar Systems.
Mobile PC clinical workstations from
Flo Healthcare will run thin client systems from Wyse Technology.
The companies will market the integrated technology to offer clinicians
a more secure, convenient way to wirelessly access patient data,
executives from the companies say.
